It's not really an Arizona thing, but we're putting a road-block between you and the SD card images we generate.

In consultation with Freescale, we realized that we need to have some infrastructure in place to comply with a number of closed-source license agreements for software we distribute.

Starting now, in order to download images from our list of actively supported disk images for i.MX6, we're going to ask you to do two things:

  1. Register on our web-site. We'll need you to provide your e-mail address and a password will be e-mailed to you.
  2. Agree to an End-User License Agreement. At the moment, you'll need to agree during each download. The essence of this agreement is the same as our agreement with Freescale, though we've been a bit more restrictive on the authorized uses (no weapons) and warranty (there isn't one since we're not charging anything).
The images on the imx6-builds page will be updated shortly to implement the click-through license. Note that this requirement breaks a number of older blog posts that give instructions to use wget for download. We'll go back and fix those when time permits.

Sorry for the hassle, but some of the software inside the SD card images contain proprietary software not of our creation, and we need to abide by those agreements.

Unless otherwise agreed to by contract, all software created by Boundary Devices and will be distributed under either the GPL (kernel, U-Boot sources) or the LGPL (userspace code) licenses.
