Carbon AM67 OSM-MF (Preliminary)

Introduction

This document describes key hardware aspects of Ezurio's Carbon AM67 OSM-MF system-on-module which is based on the TI AM67A and AM67 Sitara™ processor family. Carbon AM67 OSM-MF is a module that conforms to the SGET Open Standard Module (OSM) version 1.2 standards specification.

Overview

Carbon AM67 OSM-MF uses the TI AM67A and AM67 Sitara™ processors which integrate up to four Arm® Cortex®-A53 cores with 64-bit architecture, a Vision Processing Accelerator (VPAC) with Image Signal Processor (ISP) and multiple vision assist accelerators, Deep Learning (DL), Dense Optical Flow (DOF) video and 3D Graphics accelerators, a 800 MHz Cortex®-R5F MCU Island core and two 800MHz Cortex®- R5F cores for Device and Run-time Management.

General Description

In addition, the extensive set of peripherals included with Carbon AM67 OSM-MF enables system-level connectivity, such as: LVDS display output, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, gigabit ethernet, MMC/SD/SDIO, MIPI-CSI camera interface, MIPI-DSI display interface, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN-FD, PWM, and GPIO. Carbon AM67 supports our Summit Suite Chain of Trust’s secure boot, secure image, and secure storage protection using the built-in Hardware Security Module (HSM).  In addition, Carbon AM67 employs advanced power management support for portable and power-sensitive applications.
