Nitrogen iMX 91 OSM-SF (PRELIMINARY)

Introduction

This document describes key hardware aspects of Ezurio's Nitrogen iMX91 OSM-SF system-on-module which is based on the NXP i.MX 91 application processor family. The Nitrogen iMX91 OSM-SF is a module that conforms to the SGET Open Standard Module (OSM) version 1.2 standards specification.

Overview

The Nitrogen iMX91 OSM-SF module uses the NXP MIMX9111C processor which integrates a single-core Arm® Cortex®-A55 MPU.

General Description

The extensive set of peripherals included with Nitrogen iMX91 enables system-level connectivity, such as: USB 2.0, gigabit ethernet, MMC/SD/SDIO, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN-FD, ADC, and GPIO. Nitrogen iMX91 supports our Summit Suite Chain of Trust’s secure boot, secure image, and secure storage protection using the built-in Hardware Security Module (HSM). In addition, the Nitrogen iMX91 employs advanced power management support for portable and power-sensitive applications.
