Full QA on Every Release Bi-annually released packages with a full QA cycle to guarantee software quality and performance.
Software Components
Kernel Backports Package 75+ kernel versions, v2.6 to v6.18+. Latest feature and security updates delivered for your kernel.
AWM — Adaptive Worldwide Mode One hardware and software SKU, worldwide. Uncompromised regional performance.
Radio Firmware & Regulatory Files All firmware and config binaries for Ezurio Wi-Fi modules.
Full Stack QA Test All software components fully tested together, for ultimate reliability.
Secure Boot Signed, encrypted binaries, anti-rollback protection, and full hardware root of trust – security enforced from the ground up.

Not All Stacks Are Created Equal

Most module suppliers ship a driver and leave the rest to you. Ezurio ships the full stack — firmware, interface driver, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth device drivers, mac80211, cfg80211, BlueZ, CRDA/Regulatory, wpa_supplicant, and NetworkManager — tested together, confirmed to build. All based on standard Linux software and structures.

Build vs. Buy: the EZ Connectivity Stack Value

Below, we compare what's included and what you'd need to design when building an NXP i.MX 93 + CYW55513 based design vs. implementing our Ezurio Sona IF513 + meta-summit-radio layer.

Area NXP i.MX 93 + CYW55513 — Competitor Approach Ezurio IF513 + EZ Connectivity Stack
Yocto Layer No plan to provide Yocto — engineer manually wires all recipes meta-summit-radio: all SW recipes, IF513-tuned, one maintained Yocto layer
Driver Patched driver — evolves upstream; engineer must track API changes per kernel upgrade Backported driver, QA tested — decoupled from kernel, 75+ versions supported
CLM Patches Engineer's responsibility to work with vendor, must apply manually CLM patches included with stack, maintained, validated, and updated for new regions and regulatory requirements
Device Tree SDIO pins, GPIO, power sequencing — engineer writes from scratch SDIO pins, GPIO, power sequencing reference design included in stack
BlueZ BT Stack BT firmware patches, hciattach, profiles — engineer integrates BT patchfiles and profiles included, pre-configured
wpa_supplicant WPA2/WPA3, EAP, auth profiles — engineer configures WPA2/WPA3 pre-configured, optimized supplicant included
NetworkManager IP management, reconnect policies, interface config — engineer integrates Tested recipes, pre-integrated with wpa_supplicant
CVE Remediation Engineer must track upstream brcmfmac API changes and security fixes per kernel Security fixes across all supported kernel versions — proactive, bi-annual
Integration Testing Engineer validates full stack on each kernel or BSP bump All components versioned, validated, and QA tested together before release ships
