Expert to speak at fifth annual Medical Device Connectivity Conference

November 5, 2013 – Laird, a global technology company, announced that one of their Wireless technology experts will present at the Fifth Annual Medical Device Connectivity Conference, a conference and exhibition that focuses on the integration of medical devices and information systems. The conference takes place November 21 - 22, 2013 at the Hyatt Dulles in Herndon, Virginia.

Chris Downey, Product Manager for Laird, will present on the adoption of Bluetooth technology for medical devices, with a focus on design considerations, managing power consumption and deployment considerations to ensure reliable wireless systems. Chris will also be joined by Bill Saltzstein, medical business development director of connectBlue.
