I tried contacting Laird support for new software and they referred me to the device manufacturer. Why can't Laird provide me with new software?
We at Laird provide tier 2 support for devices made by our customers (device manufacturers). While it may sound like a simple software update, each manufacturer has different radios with different operating systems and software customizations. Additionally, we have requirements and restrictions with our customers (device manufacturers) in regards to providing support and software. We ask that end customers contact the manufacturer of their device as they will be better suited to handle your support request.
