If we choose to replace the smartBASIC firmware with our own firmware, do we need an additional license key?

If you replace the smartBASIC firmware with your own, no additional license key is required. Be aware though – if you replace the BL600’s smartBASIC firmware with your own, the current Bluetooth approvals and certifications will no longer be applicable.
