Overview
New: FlexMIMO 6E for Wi-Fi 6E applications!
The world’s first Flexible PIFA antenna for Wi-Fi MIMO applications (patented). The FlexMIMO is specifically designed for 802.11 a/b/g/n, 802.11ac, and now Wi-Fi 6E modules that use MIMO or Wi-Fi Diversity. The flexible PIFA design provides for consistent performance across a broad array of enclosures and enables adhering the antenna to flat and curved surfaces. The FlexMIMO drastically simplifies the size, cost and technical requirements for implementing the two antennas required for 802.11 MIMO radio applications as the proper orientation and spacing between the two integrated antenna elements is already optimized for MIMO radio performance, giving you the best possible range and throughput.
Our new FlexMIMO 6E supports the full Wi-Fi spectrum of 2400-2500, 4900-5925, and 5925-7125 MHz frequency bands, an ideal solution for MIMO Wi-Fi applications with future-proofing for emerging 6E frequencies. Designed for rapid integration of a 2 antenna MIMO system into space-constrained housings, the flexible, adhesive backed antennas are available with MHF1 or MHF4L connectors, providing multiple installation solutions for IoT manufacturers. FlexMIMO technology provides consistent performance across all three Wi-Fi bands for a solid and reliable connection at all times.

Are Ezurio's antennas UL certified?
Ezurio (formerly Laird Connectivity), generally speaking, does not submit antennas for burn testing so as to be UL certified. That said, we do use UL-94/V0 compliant materials for specific parts such as a radome. These parts are identified on the antenna's datasheet.
When do you want to use a FlexPIFA over Flex PCB antenna?
In a cluttered propagating environment, such as a medical suite, office, etc. where there are many metal obstructions.
As a propagating signal encounters an obstruction, the antenna's polarization sense changes and will continue to change as each obstruction is encountered.
The FlexPIFA antenna mitigates this polarization sense issue by providing energy in both vertical and horizontal polarization; thereby, increasing the probability of picking up a useable signal.
What is dBd and dBi and how do you convert from dBd to dBi?
dBd is a unit of measure for gain using a dipole as a reference; whereas, dBi uses an isotropic radiator. To convert from dBd to dBi simply add 2.15 to the dBd value to get the dBi value (e.g. 0 dBd= 2.15 dBi)
