To change the loglevel in run time, you can echo the number to /proc/sys/kernel/printk. However, this setting is in RAM and won't be kept in next boot. # echo 8 > /proc/sys/kernel/printk To keep this setting, you need to set it in bootargs in boot loader configuration.
