What exactly is Long Range Mode on the AC4790LM and how can I enable/disable it via the EEPROM?
Long Range Mode (LRM) increases the Receiver Sensitivity by 10dB. Please be aware, the module will pick up more RF noise when LRM is enabled. If you deploy the units in an area with a great amount of RF noise, you might receive some interference. The value 0×7D is Long Range mode and to enable it you have to set it to 0xE3. To disable LRM, the value is 0xFF.
