The 2010 CW 100 is a prestigious list of the most innovative technology providers of M2M and connected devices. This year’s listing was published in the November issue of Connected World. “The endless demand that we are currently seeing for connected devices, across multiple verticals, has a significant effect on the level of competition we will see in the marketplace. In order to stay competitive, companies must display considerable innovation, strength, and staying-power, traits you can find throughout the CW 100,” said Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Connected World. “Now the challenge to these companies is to persist in moving forward, adapt to this ever-changing climate, and continue to rise to the occasion.”
Companies appearing on the CW 100 are chosen from a selection of hundreds of firms, both private and publicly traded. The criteria for the listing include sales and earnings growth, contribution to the connected devices space, and innovation in multiple markets served during the past 12 months. Companies must also have more than $10 million in annual revenue and have good standing in the marketplace.
“Laird Technologies is very proud to be named to the 2010 CW 100 by Connected World magazine,” said Randy Andreen, Laird Technologies Vice President and General Manager, Telematics & Wireless M2M. “By being named to this prestigious list, Laird Technologies continues to show its dedication and commitment to embedded systems by providing innovative and industry-leading wireless and M2M solutions.”
