Defining the Next Era of Embedded Intelligence: Ezurio at Embedded World 2026

Industries Reimagined at Embedded World

Elaine Baxter, Director of Marketing, Ezurio

Ezurio was proud to attend and present at Embedded World 2026 this March in Nuremburg, Germany. Returning to Embedded World is always an exciting opportunity to share with the industry, communicating our vision for connected industries and the future of development in applications like medical devices, vision systems, industrial and manufacturing, and much more.

This year Ezurio shared some of our cutting-edge demos in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, System-on-Modules, and more. Both at our booth and in many of our partner booths, Ezurio products showcased our collaborations all over the industry in forward-thinking designs that will define the next era of connectivity and compute.

The following are a few of our showcases that we’re most excited to share with customers and partners.

Our Newest Wi-Fi Connected MCU, Powered by Infineon

In Infineon’s IoT wall, Ezurio displayed our latest generation of Wi-Fi modules, the Veda IF912 and IF913. They represent a breakthrough low-power solution with an ARM Cortex M33 MCU, ultra-low power sensor hub, and an integrated AI/ML accelerator. By bundling together on-device processing and the wireless chipset, the Veda IF912/913 are all-in-one IoT offerings that enable your complete use case to run on a single compact design. Additionally, the connected MCU can be used to augment your main board with co-processing to offload compute from the main board and to manage data transfer over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Our connected MCU modules are available with or without 802.15.4 support as well, which enables Thread and Matter support for local mesh networking, enabling even more architectures for our customers’ applications.

Bluetooth Auracast™ Audio with Cloud2GND

Bluetooth Auracast Audio is one of the most exciting new applications in the Bluetooth space (see our webinar). It enables users to tune into live Bluetooth LE Audio streams, allowing users to do everything from tuning into their favorite game at the sports bar to monitoring ongoing advisories and updates in an airport or venue. It also has accessibility applications as a potential replacement for traditional hearing aids and allows listeners to share their favorite album at a listening party. There are many exciting applications, but at the core, it’s broadcast audio at low latency, high quality, and lower power consumption via Bluetooth LE.

At Embedded World 2026, we showcased a simple audio sink and source design, enabled by our partnership with Cloud2GND. We co-developed the Aurawave AW100 board to demonstrate how simple and effective a Bluetooth Auracast application can be, using a smartphone as the audio source. We connect over from a USB source on the smartphone to one AW100 board, then wirelessly over the Bluetooth LE connection to the second AW100 board connected to a speaker via a 3.5 mm audio cable. The demonstration showcases compatibility with any smartphone, a solution that’s ready today for developers.

Bluetooth Channel Sounding with onceLabs and Metirionic

In our Ezurio booth, we demonstrated Bluetooth Channel Sounding on our BL54L15µ Development Board. Bluetooth Channel Sounding (see our webinar) allows centimeter-level distance measurements, especially with dual antennas as we demonstrated in person. The Bluetooth SIG does not specify a particular algorithm for distance measurement, so we collaborated with the experts in the space, Metirionic, who produce the Metirionic Advanced Ranging Stack (MARS) and their Pathfinder algorithm for accurate proximity and navigation.

For the front end of our demo, we calculate the distance between the base station (BL54L15µ) and a smartphone, which is running an application from our partners onceLabs. Their BLE Hero app delivers professional-grade Bluetooth LE tooling in one streamlined platform, and in our demo reports the distance between the two devices in real time.

The main takeaway? Centimeter-level distance measurement between devices is available now, with a range stack engineered for precision and support for any number of commonly available Bluetooth devices.

Next-Gen Device Control with Texas Instruments

In order to meet the rising expectations of users who work with UIs on industrial and medical devices, machine interfaces must evolve. Users today expect a buttery smooth UI, low latency, and a high resolution display. Industrial and medical devices cannot look or feel subpar. They must feel distinctively responsive and modern.

On the Texas Instruments partner wall, we demonstrated a medical device UI that meets the need of these future devices, running on our Carbon AM62 OSM-MF System on Module(which itself is based on the TI AM62x processor). The UI demo was produced by the Qt Group, and the AM62 drives two displays, one with a next-gen infusion pump UI and one with a animation detailing the Carbon AM62’s features.

Additionally, the Carbon AM62 also features our Sona™ TI351 Wi-Fi 6 / BLE module, powered by the TI CC3351 with on module DRAM and persistent storage. Integrated wireless solves critical challenges in devices like this, allowing wireless connection for critical patient monitoring. This completely pre-integrated approach dramatically simplifies adding connectivity and compute to new designs, especially those that are health-critical.

Medical Diagnostics with NXP

We also worked with the Qt Group to demonstrate medical diagnostics on the NXP partner wall. Here, we built a blood analysis UI onto our Nitrogen 95 Evaluation Kit, one of our newest and most complete ways to develop on the Nitrogen 95 SMARC System On Module (powered by the NXP i.MX 95 processor). Our Nitrogen 95 EVK contains our Nitrogen 95 SMARC, a carrier board, our Sona™ NX611 Wi-Fi 6 / Bluetooth module (based on the NXP IW611), antennas, cables, a 7-inch touch display with stand and optional camera. It is a complete out-of-the-box kickstart to your SOM-based applications.

This demo shows the deep value of a connected SOM in designs like this. Centralized health records give care providers a more complete picture of real-time vitals, all stored in one place for analysis and alerts. This is a core component of the foundation of future healthcare, smarter care, and the potential for improved outcomes with AI-driven insights.

The EVK gives our developers access to all the excellence that the i.MX 95 processor has to offer, with multiple interfaces for audio, video, and data processing. It exposes the 6-core MPU, single core real-time MCU, single core system management MCU, NPU, GPU, networking, and more.

Additionally, our work with software partners means our customers have access to many ways to develop, with available integrations for Qt, Android, Yocto Linux, Kynetics BSP, and U-Boot. All of this adds up to a major value add for developers, as we use these tools to help manage board support, longevity, system updates, root of trust secure manufacturing services, and much more.

Generative AI Image Analysis with NXP's Kinara Ara240

As with so many tech applications, AI is driving major change in the field of image recognition and processing. On the forefront of this is NXP’s Kinara Ara-2 Generative AI accelerator. The Ara line of NPUs deliver high-TOPS AI performance for transformer-based models in edge compute applications. In combination with NXP’s i.MX processors, the Ara modules offload NPU-based tasks from the i.MX processor and complement these processors with a large new volume of NPU computational capacity. They’re power-efficient, and enable larger AI-driven workloads than just the i.MX processor alone.

In this demo, our Nitrogen 95 SMARC System On Module(based on the i.MX 95) captures a photo on the Arducam x-ISP 3.8MP 4K camera, then sends that image to the Kinara co-processor. There, the NXP Kinara Multimodal GenAI demo describes in natural language the contents of the photo. But in contrast to earlier convoluted neural network models, it not only identifies contents but provides human-level understanding and context in its description. This is the difference between simply identifying objects (man, chair, book, desk) and a deeper understanding (cluttered or neat, better descriptions, time of day or likely location).

Being able to run these models at the edge can provide significant advantages by reducing the amount of processing required in the cloud, deploying in places without reliable connectivity, and much reduced latency between data capture and analysis.
